How the company deals with personal data processing?
Trust, security and transparency are at the heart of Luoto & Company Oy’s business, as also the processing of personal data.
Through this information, we tell our customers, partners and anyone else who deals with us how we process personal information as we interact in different contexts in the digital and physical service environment.
Purpose, legal grounds and sources of information
We do not process or store any personal data of our website visitors. In addition, our clients are corporate and public institutions. Therefore, we will primarily process personal information that we have obtained through cooperation or customer relationship with a company or entity. Therefore, registrants are our corporate clients or potential corporate clients.
In our operations, we process personal information for the following purposes and on the following grounds:
- We manage our customer relationship based on our contract
- We handle our customer relationships to deliver services and orders on a contractual basis
- To market our services
- To improve our service experience
Transfer, disclosure, storage and profiling of data
The data will be processed only by those individuals whose duties at Luoto & Company Oy include the proper processing of the data. Information will not be disclosed to third parties.
Personal data will not be transferred outside the EU or the EEA.
In addition to the term of the contract, we will retain personal information for six months after the end of the contract in order to ensure that our service will handle any inquiries that may come after the end of the contract.
Duration of data processing
We will retain your information for the duration of the contract and for six months thereafter.
Rights to your personal information in use
- You can check and update your personal information (right of inspection and correction).
- You may oppose the use of your information, including customer communication and marketing (prohibition).
- You may request the deletion of your data from our systems (deletion of data).
- You may complain to the Data Protection Officer if you do not believe that we are complying with applicable data protection laws when processing your personal data.

Luoto Company Oy does not disclose information outside the EU. In cases where it collects user information to ensure the quality of the service with Google Analytics, the information is provided to Google, whose services are located in the United States.
